Emily's Thorned Rose

Home of Ink and Chaos

I’m an indie author with a passion for crafting fierce female leads who don’t just survive the darkness—they rise from it stronger, sharper, and a little more dangerous. If you love stories with grit, resilience, and a deliciously dark twist…the darker, the better…you’re in the right place.

SNEAK PEAK….

From the book being released on 12.20.25…..

“You’re no longer a good fit for me anymore.” She rushed off the bed, grabbing new clothes from her dresser to change. “You can happily leave.”

“Whoa, wait a hot minute there, princess. Where the f%$^ do you think you’re going? Why are you so upset?” I shot out of the bed, toward her.

“Get the f$%^ out and don’t come back. I’m through with these games. You were a hot F#$% and all, but yeah, you’re not my crazy.”

Her rage was palpable, stiffening the air around us quickly.

She turned, shutting herself in the bathroom. I didn’t hesitate to break the door off its hinges. It was the exact moment she removed her shirt, exposing her scarred torso in the bathroom light. I grabbed her arm, her eyes wide, trying frantically to cover herself again. I ripped the fabric out of her hands and threw it aside. She tried to strike me, but I caught her hand, pinning it behind her back. Suddenly, she headbutted my jaw with such force that I nearly buckled, not seeing it coming. I know it was meant to free herself, but I wouldn’t let her go to clutch my jaw. So, I let the blood spill all over her.
